Delivery Information
At Ironmongery Solutions, we are committed to providing reliable and efficient delivery services to our trade customers. Please review the following information regarding delivery options, charges, and procedures.
Complimentary Standard Delivery
Enjoy free standard delivery (3–5 working days) on all orders over £75 (excluding VAT). Our logistics partners ensure goods are delivered promptly and securely to your business address.
Express Delivery Options
Expedited delivery options are available for an additional fee. Delivery costs will be calculated automatically at checkout to provide the most accurate pricing.
Pricing and VAT
All prices shown on our website exclude VAT at 20%. VAT and any applicable delivery charges will be added at checkout.
Same-Day Dispatch
Orders placed before 1 PM (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays) are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed on the next working day.
Shipping Charges for Orders Under £75
For orders under £75, delivery fees range from £6.50 to £8.99, depending on size and weight. The exact charge will appear at checkout.
Click & Collect Service
We offer a complimentary Click & Collect service from our warehouse in Blackburn. Simply select this option at checkout and we will notify you when your order is ready for collection.
Delivery Outside UK Mainland
Surcharges apply for deliveries outside the UK Mainland. Next working-day delivery is not available for these areas. Regions include (but are not limited to): Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, and Scilly Isles.

If you have already placed an order and your postcode falls outside UK Mainland, any additional delivery charges will be invoiced separately before dispatch.
Risk & Responsibility
Goods are carefully checked and packed before dispatch. Risk in the goods passes to the Buyer once they leave our premises or are collected by the carrier. Ironmongery Solutions is not liable for delays, loss, or damage in transit once the goods are handed over to the courier.
International Deliveries
International Delivery Information
Ironmongery Solutions provides international delivery services to trade customers worldwide. Please review the information below for details on shipping times, customs duties, and return policies.
Delivery Timeframes
- Standard Delivery: 12–25 business days for most international destinations.
- Express Delivery: Available on request for an additional charge. Please contact us to arrange express delivery options.
Order Processing & Dispatch
Orders placed from Monday to Friday (excluding UK bank holidays) are usually processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days. Delivery timeframes may vary depending on customs clearance and local carrier operations.
Shipping Charges
International shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on destination, order weight, and dimensions. Oversized or irregularly shaped items may incur additional surcharges, which will be invoiced separately.
Customs Duties, Taxes & Fees
Customers are responsible for paying all customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by their local authorities. Ironmongery Solutions does not control or cover these costs.
If customs fees are not paid and the goods are returned to us, a 30% restocking fee and the return shipping cost will be deducted from any refund. Refunds will be issued for the product value only and do not include original shipping or customs fees.
Returns
International returns must be arranged and shipped by the customer at their own expense. A 30% restocking fee applies to all authorised returns of non-defective items.
If customs duties are unpaid and goods are returned automatically by customs or carriers, both the restocking fee and return shipping charges will be deducted from any refund amount.
Issues with a Product
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please notify us within 2 business days of delivery and provide photos or videos showing the issue. In confirmed cases of damage or defect, no restocking fee will apply. You may need to send the item back at your own expense.
Please note that Ironmongery Solutions is not responsible for the reimbursement of customs duties, import taxes, or surcharges in connection with any returned goods.
Additional Charges for Existing Orders
If you have already placed an order and request delivery to a country not originally selected at checkout, additional shipping charges may apply. These will be invoiced separately before dispatch. Shipping rates and delivery times may vary due to fuel surcharges, global price changes, or courier adjustments.
Risk & Responsibility
Once dispatched, the risk in the goods passes to the Buyer. Ironmongery Solutions is not liable for delays, customs inspections, or loss or damage occurring in transit after the goods leave our premises. All shipments are covered under the carrier’s terms and insurance policies.
