A Tubular Latch Rebate Set, part of the Jedo Collection locks & latches range from Frelan Hardware
Finish: Electro Brass
The Rebate Kit becomes necessary when using a Mortice Latch or Lock on rebated doors as these are designed with standard square edges which do not fit well into the rebated sections
The Rebate Kit provides a shaped surround for the Latch or Lock mechanism that will level the rebate on the face of both of the doors at the point where the Latch or Lock is placed thus allowing the doors to latch into place securely
To suit Frelan Hardware JL122EB & JL123EB Latches
You would generally select this product for double interior doors E.G (French windows) with a rebated edge

If you are unsure if your doors are rebated, here is a simple way to check: Close the doors and if you can pass a piece of paper through the centre, they are NOT rebated
